Capstone Project – Prototyping

We began our game project with several weeks of paper prototyping. Through playtesting we developed the concept. We learned a lot on the way about what would make a more intuitive interface and how to effectively prototype a real-time game with limited resources. With our final prototype (pictured last below) we broke our simulation of the game into time steps to make movements consistent and to clearly indicate to our playtesters that different vehicles could have different speeds.
